Dov Shevich, Chairman of the Board. Mr. Shevich is President of Control & Power Systems, Inc (CPS), a firm he founded in 1979. CPS is a turnkey engineering firm providing engineering, integration, controls, and fabrication services. CPS was recently voted to the INC 5000’s list of fastest growing private companies. Mr. Shevich holds a Practical Engineering degree from ORT Technical Tel Aviv, Israel. He received his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology, Magna Cum Laude, and a Masters in Industrial Engineering and Management from Columbia University. Mr. Shevich is fluent in English, Russian, Polish and Hebrew. | | | 
Peter J. Behrle, CEO Mr. Behrle has spent the last 30 years in leadership positions for a variety of corporate and entrepreneurial firms. For the last five years, Mr. Behrle has provided business development expertise to renewable energy companies, funders and consultants. Clients have included BioEnergy of America, Viridia Energy, CPS, Gerson Lehrman Group, Goldman Sachs, Bain Consulting, Savitr Capital, Ridge Dominicano, Pure Energy, PennDel Biodiesel, and Quests Biofuels. His consultations have included executive management, due diligence, technology evaluation, development and procurement, project management, feedstock availability and procurement, joint venture development, capital structuring, public relations and government relations. Mr. Behrle spent 15 years with The Prudential Insurance Company of America in various sales and marketing management assignmnets, with his last assignment being VP, Sales and Marketing for Prudential’s Western Regional Group Operations in Los Angeles, a $2 billion division. Following his career at Prudential, Mr. Behrle owned The Behrle Group, a $50 million firm specializing in the interior design and supply of furnishings for offices, country clubs and large homes. Mr. Behrle has a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University. | | |  Martin Zalite, President and Chief Technology Officer Mr. Zalite has worked in the design, development and marketing of major process and automation systems in a variety of process oriented industries since 1979. He has held positions of responsibility in engineering functions, sales and marketing and executive management. Petrochemical manufacturing equipment design and application, printing industry automation and process control and automation are major areas of Mr. Zalite’s expertise.
After graduating from The Newark College and Engineering (BSME) in 1979, he began his career at Exxon Chemical Company as a machinery specialist. Mr. Zalite grew his career at Baldwin Technology Company, where he held various positions ranging from Applications Engineer, to Engineering Manager, to Product Manager and finally Regional Sales Manager. Further, he built upon this experience at Printex Products Corporation, which culminated with Mr. Zalite taking ownership of the company and further developing it as Graftex Systems, Inc. As the Internet and other electronic forms of communication began to compete with printing, Mr. Zalite began to explore interests and opportunities in the process control industry at Control & Power Systems, Inc., where he served as Operations Manager. During this time, he worked in a variety of industries, but most notably in the fresh kill poultry industry. | | | David W. McComb, Member Board of Directors In addition to being an ASL partner Mr. McComb is an operations management consultant and business executive with more than 35 years’ experience. A 1971 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he initially worked in the paper industry and as plant manager for the world’s largest manufacturer of synthetic braided rope. Joining consulting firm Arthur D. Little, Inc. in 1982, he led or participated in more than 50 client assignments involving more than 100 operating environments in a wide range of industries in the manufacturing, distribution, energy, communications, utilities and financial services sectors. He also served as the firm’s practice leader in quality management and procurement cost reduction before founding McComb Inc. in 1989.
In thirteen years’ consulting for Ford Motor Company in quality management and process improvement, he introduced process mapping and integrated diagnostic and communications techniques, which the company used in implementing worldwide best practices. He has also applied these methods in other industries, most recently for TWIST Process Innovations, Ltd., an international standards organization working toward “closing the gaps” in the worldwide financial supply chain.
Mr. McComb has held management positions with former clients Optobionics Corporation, Naperville, Illinois, and International Asset Transactions LLC, New York. | | | Leslie Solomon, Financial Advisor Leslie has more than 20 years of financial, strategic, operating and corporate development experience in a broad range of industries. She has held top management roles, developed and implemented growth and transition plans for companies in renewable energy, manufacturing, including fabrication, component assembly, and industrial process, agriculture, business services, and distribution. Through her firm, Tencer & Solomon LLC, Leslie brings expertise in planning, managing and raising capital for growing businesses.
Prior to founding Tencer Solomon, Leslie spent over 15 years developing and implementing growth and turnaround plans for privately held middle-market companies, at Nightingale & Associates and with Allomet Partners, Ltd. She has served as advisor to senior management, lenders, investors, directors and economic development agencies. Leslie has an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Smith College. |
