Renewable BioSystems, LLC of Fairfield, NJ (RBL) owns the exclusive North American license to market and manufacture a new oil extraction technology with significant waste to energy conversion metrics. The technology was originally developed in England, and RBL is manufacturing all North American based machines in the U.S. Patent protections are in place. Since 2006 the licensor/inventor has successfully operated three full size commercial scale machines in the United Kingdom, two at livestock processing plants, and one at a commercial in vessel composter. All of the oil produced by the machines has been converted into EN quality biodiesel. The oil extraction technology processes up to 15 metric tons per hour of organic material including: -
The source separated food residual portion (organic fraction) of municipal solid waste - OFMSW
-
Waste from food factories and supermarkets
-
Offal (viscera) from livestock processors
-
DAF (dissolved air flotation) sludge
-
Fish residuals
-
Oil Seeds
And extracts oil in varying percentages the organic material that can be then be used for: 1) a fuel source for energy generation 2) biodiesel feedstock 3) livestock feed
A solid and water fraction are also generated during the separation process.
